Beef Standing Rib Roast
The standing rib roast is an immaculate centrepiece for a special dinner. Due to the high fat content of the rib eye, when sliced it is most probably the most succulent roast around. Marries well with a nice marinade coating the outside which forms a delicious crust after cooking. Some ideas could be a strong horseradish mustard or a bold herb crust. The rib roast is prepared and tied to ensure even cooking and easy carving when the time comes. We would recommend between 250 – 350gm per person.
